Cyprus offers an amalgamation of both European and American style of education. The small country spends 7% of its annual GDP on education which is the third highest share in the European Union right after Denmark and Sweden. At present, the private education system in Cyprus is booming with a high level of investments being made to introduce quality education. Some universities in the North part of the island also follow the American Credit System which generates international recognition for these universities. Moreover, international students have the opportunity to get educated from foreign qualified faculty members. Students have hundreds of courses to select from, all which are being taught in the English language.
